ISSUES
Cost of Living
Current government policy is inflationary. Our state is one of the most expensive in the country.
Inflation is one of the most regressive economic phenomena becuase it erodes the purchasing power of wages and savings most severely for those with the fewest assets to hedge against it. The people hurt most by a sustained 7% inflation rate are not the wealthy, who hold real assets that appreciate with inflation, but lower and middle income households whose paychecks and savings accounts lose ground in real terms.
The residents of Washington State who are paying higher taxes, higher rents and higher prices for everyday goods, deserve to know that this is not an accident of circumstance. It is the predictable outcome of specific policy choices.

Public Safety
We prioritize safe communities. We support fully funding law enforcement alongside diversion programs such as drug courts, crisis counseling, and treatment-based alternatives that protect public safety while promoting recovery and accountability.

Immigration
We're offering a predictable immigration policy, while at the same protecting our borders. We proposea new type of residency for dealing with an estimated 15 million undocumented immigrants currently living in our country.
